I build software, and I think a lot about why it should exist in the first place – not just how to make it work.

I started out doing full stack dev, corporate and freelance – React, Node, PHP, the usual stack soup. Along the way I got into the parts of the job nobody puts on a resume: figuring out why a site was slow, closing security holes, untangling what a feature was actually supposed to do before writing a line of code.

That curiosity is basically what pulled me toward business analysis for a while. Turns out I really like the “why” behind systems – not just building them, but figuring out what they’re for. These days I’m headed back toward more hands-on technical work, with some new directions I’m still sorting out.

What I do know: I like building things end to end, and I'm not done learning. Right now that means side projects, a few good books always in progress, and a lot of Coursera tabs open at once. If you're looking for someone who can code, ask good questions, and isn't pretending to have it all mapped out, that's me.
